Who should attend: Anyone responsible for bringing a contractor onto their premises.

Summary: The objective of this course is to give up-to-date guidance about bringing contractors onto your premises and to outline the specific responsibilities that facilities managers have in selecting and controlling contractors. Facilities managers are increasingly being held accountable for breaches of Health & Safety legislation committed by their contractors.

Qualification: Successful completion of this course will give people the confidence to select and control their contractors appropriately with regards to Health & Safety legislation, allow you to understand and comply with the law and help you to understand all aspects of having a contractor onto your site. Sample contractor questionnaires and checklists will be supplied as part of the course.
