Environmental Awareness Course

Duration: 1 day

Who should attend: Health, Safety & Environmental professionals and anyone who needs to widen the scope of their environmental knowledge.

Summary: This course will cover UK environmental legislation and enforcement; all impacts of waste, how to mange and control your waste output; the principles behind controlling air and water pollution; the principles and practice of environmental management and the ideas behind sustainable development and corporate responsibility.

Qualification: After this course you will understand the basic requirements of UK environmental legislation; the principles and regulatory regime of waste management; basic air and water pollution control methods and the legislation relating to this; and the key principles of sustainable development and corporate responsibility. This is an assessed course to give a formal evaluation of your knowledge and skill, and you will be presented with a certificate upon successful completion.
