Asbestos, Legionella, Fire and Health & Safety Training Facilities
AEC currently have three fully functional training/meeting rooms (two fully air conditioned) containing state of the art electronic projection systems. Our specially constructed Practical Training Area allows theory to be put into real practical situations and just outside, a mobile decontamination unit can be set up and operated.
A modern, comfortable break-out area is available for refreshments and snacks. A choice of hot and cold lunches are delivered on-site by our caterers.
Training /Meeting Room Hire
All AEC's training rooms and practical areas are available for your own private use at very competitive rates, either on a full or half day basis.

Practical Training Area
Our practical training area allows delegates to put into practice what they have learned in the classroom. A fully working asbestos enclosure, complete with NPU, 3-stage airlock and viewing panel is included where removal techniques and material sampling can be carried out. In addition this area is also used for Legionella, Noise and general Health and Safety Awareness courses.
The practical training area is also available for hire to companies wishing to utilise these unique facilities.
Additional specialist services on-site
As an asbestos consultancy, we also have facilities at our building which may be used as part of a training course or which can be offered as an add-on to the courses at your request.
These facilities include:
- Fully functional UKAS analytical laboratory.
- Face fit testing equipment/room.
- Consumables service (coveralls, RPE, tape, sampling equipment, sample bags etc.)
