Fire Risk Assessments
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO) came into effect in October 2006 and applies to all non-domestic premises in England and Wales, including the common parts of blocks of flats and houses in multiple occupation. Under the Fire Safety Order (FSO), the responsible person must carry out a fire safety risk assessment and implement and maintain a fire management plan. AEC have dedicated consultants experienced in carrying out fire risk assessments. Current regulations require that risk of fires be reduced, and those remaining risks managed to ensure the safety of your employees, tenants or visitors. AEC can assist in implementing fire reduction measures, and procedures, following the risk assessments, by providing practical advice in:
- Risk management and safety
- Construction design and services
- Extinguisher purchase and servicing
- Emergency signs and planning
- Disability access surveys
- Due diligence and compliance auditing
- Fire Marshal and general fire awareness training
