Services

  • Four-stage clearances, leading to a Certificate of Reoccupation
  • Reassurance air tests
  • Leak air tests
  • Background air tests
  • Personal air monitoring

AEC can remove the hassle of keeping ‘personal exposure’ records; the use of a web-based system provides summary reports for managers detailing pre-start activities through all stages of asbestos removal. This service is available on an on-going or planned basis to suit individual requirements.

Competence in the Provision of Four-Stage Clearance Procedures

All AEC team members carry out four-stage clearance procedures and hold a minimum of the ‘British Occupational Hygiene Society’ (BOHS) qualifications:

  • P403 Asbestos Fibre Counting (PCM); and
  • P404 Air Sampling of Asbestos and MMMF and Requirements for a Certificate of Reoccupation Following Clearance of Asbestos

All consultants are routinely audited in line with UKAS accreditation requirements and participate in the Regular Interlaboratory Counting Exchange (RICE) Scheme in which AEC maintains Category 1 status.

With a strong reputation for consistency and quality to maintain, AEC aligns with the asbestos removal contractor to ensure the project is completed on time, on budget and to the highest possible standard.
